Cal State Fullerton’s Auxiliary Services Corp. is seeking to acquire the building that currently houses the Western State College of Law.
The 86,500-square-foot building with adjacent parking sits at the corner of Dorothy Lane and State College Boulevard.
The CSU Board of Trustees last week authorized the sale and issuance of California systemwide revenue bonds for the purchase. The debt will be paid with rental income, initially from Western State College of Law for its continued occupancy through the first three years of ASC ownership.
Beginning in the fourth year, the university will rent space as needed, similar to the current arrangement for university use of the College Park Building, purchased by the ASC in 2000.
