Newly In Print: Faculty Authored Publications

Cal State Fullerton faculty from across campus have recently seen their works in print or posted online, including
Robert A. Voeks, professor of geography, and John Rashford of College of Charleston, co-authored "African Ethnobotany in the Americas" published this month by Springer. Voeks describes the book as the first comprehensive examination of ethnobotanical knowledge and skills among the African diaspora in North America, the Caribbean and South America.
Brian M. Norton, assistant professor of English, comparative literature and linguistics, authored “Fiction and the Philosophy of Happiness: Ethical Inquiries in the Age of Enlightenment," published by Bucknell University Press.
C. George Peale , emeritus professor of modern languages and literatures, co-authored two annotated editions of plays by the 17th-century playwright Luis Vélez de Guevara "El negro del serafín" and "El pleito que puso al diablo el cura de Madrilejos." Both were published this fall by Juan de la Cuesta-Hispanic Monographs.
Ken Alan, lecturer in kinesiology, authored the chapter "Choreography, Music and Cueing in Class Design and Delivery" in American College of Sports Medicine's Resources for the Group Fitness Instructor published Nov. 1 by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
Fatima A. Alali, associate professor of accounting, and graduate student Chia-Lun Yeh co-authored "Cloud Computing: Overview and Risk Analysis" posted on the website of the American Accounting Association's Journal of Information Systems website. It is slated for the fall issue.
Kalin Kolev, assistant professor of management, co-authored "An Assessment of Hierarchical Linear Modeling in International Business, Management and Marketing" posted on line at sciencedirect.com and slated for an upcoming issue of International Business Review.
