Toys for Children

Camp Titan, the recognized philanthropy of the Associated Students Inc., is holding its annual Holiday Toy Drive through Dec. 5. All donations from the toy drive will go to underprivileged children in Orange County, ages 7 to 14.

"The Camp Titan Toy Drive is a chance for students and other members of the Cal State Fullerton campus community to help families in need during the holiday season," said Ray Edmondson, Camp Titan co-director of camper management. "It is a great way for all of us to give back to those less fortunate and strengthens our sense of community on campus."

All members of the campus community are invited to participate in the toy drive by choosing a child's name and age from the Titan Toy Drive train display in the Titan Student Union lobby. All participants are asked to purchase and return an age-appropriate, unwrapped toy to TSU Information & Services by Dec. 5.

Students, staff and faculty members on the CSUF Irvine Campus may contribute by choosing a child's name from a snowman located in the lobby of the Irvine Campus building. Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off in Room 115.

Monetary donations will be accepted and used to purchase gifts. Donated gifts will be distributed by Camp Titan student organizers at a holiday party later in December.

Camp Titan is an American Camping Association-accredited camp and is funded through Associated Student body fees, Greek Week activities and private donations. For more information about the Holiday Toy Drive, call the Camp Titan office at 657-278-3036.
