The 3-6 p.m. standards-based program will utilize “Island of the Blue Dolphin,” a 1960 children's book written by Scott O’Dell, as a focus to introduce the tools and resources used by Native Americans. Developed for third- through fifth-grade educators, the workshop includes hands-on activities for classroom presentations.
Cost is $25; more information is available and reservations can be made on the Tucker website or by calling 714-649-2760.
