Ethnic Studies Grad School Fair Set for Oct. 6

What:
Cal State Fullerton will host an Oct. 6 Ethnic Studies Graduate School Fair to showcase doctoral and master’s programs in various ethnic studies programs throughout Southern California. The event is free and open to the public.
When:
Saturday, Oct. 6
10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Where:
Cal State Fullerton’s Pollak Library
800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton, 92831
Program:
Two panel discussions will be presented:
• 11 a.m.-noon — presentation of different programs offered at California State University campuses, University of California campuses and private universities
• 1-2 p.m. — workshop on applying for and succeeding in graduate school
Why:
The event aims to equip students with the information they can use to choose a graduate program in ethnic studies and be successful and competitive in the workforce once they graduate, said Alexendro J. Gradilla, chair of African American studies and Chicana and Chicano studies at CSUF.
