Understanding the Affordable Care Act
Consultant to Discuss the Individual Care Mandate and How It Will Affect Your Family

The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics Center for Insurance Studies will host a Sept. 23 talk on "The Affordable Care Act Individual Mandate and How It Affects You and Your Family" with Dorothy M. Cociu, president of Advanced Benefit Consulting and Insurance Services.
"This is an important talk of crucial interest to students as we come closer to Jan. 1, when all Americans will be required to acquire health insurance," said Weili Lu, professor of finance and center director. "Dorothy Cociu is a leading industry expert and trainer on the Affordable Care Act. I encourage all students interested in business, insurance and actuary and health-related studies to hear more of what she has to say on this important subject."
