Explore Victorian Gardening at the Fullerton Arboretum

New York author and horticulturist Marta McDowell will discuss Victorian gardening from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Fullerton Arboretum. Join her as she explores the development of 19th-century American landscaping style as it evolved from formal to romantic to picturesque. McDowell's books have explored the gardening interests of Emily Dickinson and Beatrix Potter, and she teaches landscape history and horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden.

The cost is $25/person for Arboretum members and $30/person for nonmembers. Preregister online or call 657-278-3407 for more information. Walk-up registration will be accepted until class fills.
