CSU Reaches Tentative Agreement with UAW
Oct. 3, 2013
The California State University has reached a tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers (UAW) on a three-year successor collective bargaining agreement. The UAW represents nearly 7,700 student employees who serve as teaching associates, graduate assistants or instructional student assistants throughout the CSU.
The agreement will be taken to the CSU Board of Trustees for final approval at their November meeting and marks the first time since 2007 that CSU has negotiated a multiyear salary deal with one of its unions.
