Cal State Fullerton hosts its signature fundraising event, Concert Under the Stars, Saturday, Sept. 21. Campus and community members are invited to enjoy casual, open-air dining, lively musical entertainment and a fireworks spectacular. Proceeds benefit student scholarships and programs.

The program, "I Believe in Music," will feature CSUF's popular performing group The Preeminents, as well as alumni, whose credits include Broadway and national touring productions. Taking the stage for their alma mater will be: Brooke Aston, Jennifer Hubilla, Emily Mitchell, Erin McNally, Louis Pardo, Kate Peters and Brad Standley, plus College of the Arts faculty members Eve Himmelheber and Mitch Hanlon.

"This is a great way to reintroduce the campus to the community at large, as well as to the University's many alumni," said Gary Green, who earned his bachelor's degree in business administration-finance in 1980. Now serving as chair of the Concert Under the Stars Community Committee, the executive vice president and manager of California Bank and Trust pointed out that in many ways, the event will be a coming home for alumni who may not have been back to the campus in awhile. "Because students and alumni are performing, it's a good way to see what our students can do and what they can achieve as alumni. It's a chance to see the campus again and share with our kids. I'm very excited about this opportunity for others to get to know and support Cal State Fullerton."

Individual seats range from $25 to $300 each. Tables for 6 can be reserved for $300, or for 10 at $500. Details are available online.

Table sponsorships, including catered dinners for 10, range from $3,000 to $25,000. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
