Earthquake Talk Kicks Off Series Sept. 26

Seismologist Susan E. Hough, scientist in charge of the U.S. Geological Survey and author of “Predicting the Unpredictable: The Tumultuous Science of Earthquake Prediction,” will kick off Cal State Fullerton’s Center for the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology and Medicine annual speaker series. All the lectures are free and open to the public. Hough’s lecture on the history, hype and hazard of earthquakes will be delivered at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in Room 110 of the Humanities-Social Sciences Building.
