James Parham, assistant professor of geological sciences and faculty curator of paleontology for the John D. Cooper Archaeological and Paleontological Center, co-authored "A Divergence Dating Analysis of Turtles Using Fossil Calibrations: An Example of Best Practices," published in the July issue of the Journal of Paleontology. The article integrates data from the fossil record and DNA of turtles to estimate the origination time of turtle lineages.
Lorenzo Bizzi, assistant professor of management, authored "The Dark Side of Structural Holes: A Multilevel Investigation" published in the September issue of the Journal of Management.
Douglas Swanson, professor of communications, authored the chapter "Neither Cold Nor Hot: Assessing Christian World Wide Web Sites That Target LGBT Publics" in the book "Coming out of the Closet: Exploring LGBT Issues in Strategic Communication With Theory and Research" published in May by Peter Lang.
Paul Martin Lester, professor of communications, has authored "Digital Innovations for Mass Communications: Engaging the User," slated for release in November by Routledge Press.
