Final Projects Propose New Business Ventures
Dec. 5, 2013
Nineteen student teams in three new venture business classes will meet Friday, Dec. 6, to present their final projects before a panel of investors, bankers and venture capitalists. Each team has 15 minutes to present their business concepts and another 10 minutes to answer questions. After all teams present, they will be ranked and the top two teams will be awarded scholarships. Among the projects being presented is one called Head Games in which a video game player can wear headphones that measure brain activity, sensing when the player starts to get bored and adjust the game to make it more stimulating, said John B. Jackson, who teaches two of the new venture classes.
