Oct. 18, 2013
Art Professor John Leighton created this piece.
About 30 pieces of original glass artworks created by art students and faculty members are on display in the dean’s suite in Mihaylo Hall through Jan. 6. The public is welcome to view the exhibit weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The artists will be introduced at a public reception Oct. 30, 3-5 p.m.
The exhibit, “FLUID,” is a collaboration between the College of the Arts and Mihaylo College of Business and Economics to showcase student artwork and “inspire students from all majors to appreciate art,” said Alyssa Cordova ’13 (M.F.A.) of Sixpack Projects, exhibit co-curator with Heather Richards-Siddons ’12 (M.F.A.)
