Public Discussions On Campus Set for Sunday Evenings

Free Sunday public workshops on freedom of expression, the crisis in higher education and media control and propaganda have been scheduled on campus. The 6 p.m. workshops are sponsored by the Modern Languages and Literatures Department and the Left Bank of Orange County. Spoken-word artist David A. Romero and poet Matt Sedillo are the featured speakers April 28, Gayle K. Brunelle, CSUF professor of history, and Hélène Domon, CSUF professor of French, are the speakers May 5 and the May 19 workshop will feature a screening of the documentary “Noam Chomsky on Media Control.” All workshops will take place in Room 123 of the Humanities-Social Science Building. For more information, contact Domon at 657-278-3498.
