Cal State Fullerton's Center for Family Business offers a May 14 evening program titled "Family Business Boot Camp: Solutions for the Well-Being of Your Family Business" featuring a panel of business leaders discussing issues that include employee benefits, a company's real worth, real estate investments and passing a business to the second generation.

Who:

Panelists are:

  • Mark Boyes, benefit consultant, Barney & Barney LLC
  • Joe Hernandez, senior vice president, City National Bank
  • Nancy Ferruzzo, business and tax attorney, Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo LLP
  • David Griffin, tax director, McGladrey LLP

Moderating the discussion will be Ed Hart, director of the Center for Family Business

Background:

A partnership between Cal State Fullerton's Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, the Center for Family Business offers various opportunities for family-owned businesses to learn, receive information and network.

Cost:

Free for first-time family business attendees interested in becoming a center member. Reservations are required and can be made online or by contacting Robbin Bretzing at 657-278-4182 or fbc@fullerton.edu.

Parking:

$2 per hour or $8 for a daily permit. Details are available online
