Festival, Game, Presidential Inauguration Culminate Week’s Festivities

A pep rally kicked off Homecoming Week festivities Jan. 29-Feb. 2. View photos on flickr and check back often as events unfold and more pictures are added. The week’s events included a fashion show, a festival, President Mildred García’s inauguaration and the Homecoming basketball game and pre-game activities.
About 1,500 people, a record crowd, attended the Homecoming pre-game festival, and 3,978 fans packed the gym at game time, the most since the 2009 game against Long Beach State. “The atmosphere was phenomenal,” Titan coach Andy Newman said. “The students, the alumni, everybody came back.”
