Business College Board Hosts Supervisor John M. W. Moorlach

Orange County Supervisor John M.W. Moorlach will discuss how the county is faring and the forces that may jeopardize the fiscal well-being of both the county and area businesses during a May 9 breakfast forum sponsored by the Executive Council of Cal State Fullerton's Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. The program is open to the public.

Moorlach, who served 12 years as treasurer-tax collector before his election to the OC Board of Supervisors in 2006, represents the county's second district, comprising the cities of Costa Mesa, Cypress, Huntington Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Stanton and a portion of Buena Park and Fountain Valley. He is chairman of Orange County's Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and Ending Homelessness Commission, leads the Newport Bay Watershed Executive Committee and serves on several additional boards, commissions and committees.

The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics Executive Council was established to provide the Southern California business community with the ability to interact with, provide advice to and assist the college in achieving its goal of academic excellence and community recognition.
