U.S. Representative Ed Royce Hosts Fifth Annual Women's Conference

March 8, 2013

What issues do women face today? Campus and community members are invited to attend the fifth annual Women's Conference hosted by Rep. Ed Royce (R - Fullerton) at Cal State Fullerton's Titan Student Union. The March 23 half-day program is free.

The keynote speaker, Kathleen Baty, was a victim of an obsessive stalker who threatened her at gunpoint during a kidnap attempt. She also is the president and CEO of Safety Chick Enterprises and the author of “A Girl’s Gotta Do What a Girl’s Gotta Do: The Ultimate Guide to Living Safe and Smart.”

There will be break-out sessions on such topics as “Financially Fit and Savvy,” “5 Health Facts Every Woman Must Know,” “Achieve Uncommon Career Success,” and “A Celebrity Chef’s Guide to Cooking.”

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program will conclude with the keynote address by Baty at 11:45 a.m. For more information or to register, visit U.S. Rep. Royce’s website.
