Destino Universidad Helps Families Plan for College

Sept. 21 Event Assists Families in Charting the Path to a College Degree

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the University will host Destino Universidad, a free event to help Latino students and their families chart the path to a college education. The program will feature a resource fair, campus tours, interactive panel discussions and workshops in Spanish and English on admission procedures, financial aid, course planning and undocumented status. Immigration attorney and CNN radio host Rosa Elena Sahagun will be a keynote speaker. Destino Universidad will take place from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Titan Student Union, 800 N.
