Three Faculty Members Publish Books, Articles

Three faculty members of the English, Comparative Literature and Linguistics Department recently published books, a book chapter and journal articles. They are:
- Stephen J. Mexal, associate professor, who authored the book “Reading for Liberalism: The Overland Monthly and the Writing of the Modern American West” (University of Nebraska Press, 2013) and a chapter in “Regionalists on the Left: Radical Voices from the American West” (University of Oklahoma Press, 2013);
- David M. Sandner, professor, who co-edited “Treasury of the Fantastic: Romanticism to the Early Twentieth Century” (Tachyon Publications, 2013); and wrote “Revising Horror (the Wrong Mouth)” in Mythic Delirium, Issue 28, Spring 2013; and
- Stephen Westbrook, associate professor, published two poems — “Advice from a Middle Aged Man to his Teenage Self” and “Advice from a Teenage Boy to his Middle Aged Self”— in the literary magazine SLAB, Spring 2013, Issue 8.
