Workshop for high school educators meets California standards in math and economics

Cal State Fullerton's Center for Economic Education is offering a Saturday, Sept. 7, daylong teacher training program in financial and economic literacy. The program for high school educators meets California standards in math and economics.
Presenters include Robert Sexton, professor of economics at Pepperdine University, and Theresa Hagelbarger, co-director of the southern section of the California Future Business Leaders of America and a business teacher at Villa Park High School.

Tentative topics include the economic principles, business plans, and personal finance, as well as teaching financial literacy.
The program provides a $50 stipend, lunch and reimbursement for mileage. Free parking is available. A map of the campus can be found online.
