Aug. 15, 2013
As fall semester begins at Cal State Fullerton, returning students will get a head start on the road to financial wellness, thanks to a new Bank of America effort to promote financial literacy.
Throughout the fall semester, Bank of America representatives will meet with student groups across campus, offering mini-workshops about budgeting, saving and meeting financial goals.
Bank of America's program at Cal State Fullerton is part of the bank's focus on workforce development and education to help young adults learn to better manage their finances in a way that creates financial stability in the household and the community.
"By partnering with Cal State Fullerton, we can teach students about financial decisions that will lay the groundwork for future growth and prosperity," said Regino Diaz, Orange County area executive at Bank of America. "Bank of America is a leader in providing a variety of effective financial education resources and will continue to deliver such efforts that enable students to manage their money wisely."
