Easing the Burden of Chronic Pain
Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Center Hosts “Road to Awareness” Sept. 15.

Cal State Fullerton’s Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Center and the Fibromyalgia Awareness National Network will host “Road to Awareness” Sunday, Sept. 15. The free 11 a.m.-3 p.m. western-themed event, open to the public, will be held in Room 199 of the Kinesiology and Health Science Building on campus. It will feature a keynote presentation on healthcare changes, research on neuro-immune disease and other chronic conditions by Linda Tannenbaum, executive director of the Open Medicine Foundation. "This event recognizes individuals in our community whose lives have been impacted by a chronic pain condition, particularly fibromyalgia,” said C. Jessie Jones, director and founder of the Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Center. Online event registration is recommended.
