Alumna Simona Bor
Simona Bor, a May biochemistry grad who begins Harvard Medical School this fall and has received accolades for her scholastic and research achievements, is the recipient of a $5,000 fellowship from the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Bor, CSUF's 2013 Kenneth L. Goodhue-McWilliams Award winner, is among 51 students nationwide selected for the national award.
Bor is only the third fellowship winner ever selected from the CSUF chapter, said Susan Cadwallader, associate professor of marketing and chapter board member. While the award will help offset the costs of graduate school, Bor said, "It's also a great honor to represent CSUF and its quality of undergraduate training in this national organization."
