June 11, 2013
Richard Lippa, professor of psychology, is using an online survey to study the nature of human sexual attraction. He his hoping there will be sufficient public interest in participating in the study to get a good cross-cultural sample in other countries as well as the U.S. Research participants who visit the site will be asked to rate illustrations of subjects varying in ethnicity and physical features. Lippa said the research will investigate such factors as: demographic characteristics, attitudes and personality traits that are related to participants’ patterns of sexual attraction.
