World War I Symposium at Pollak Library

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History, Phi Alpha Theta and the History Students Association host "The Centennial of World War I (1914-1918)" at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, in Room 360 of the Pollak Library. The symposium features lectures on the Eastern front by Graydon Tunstall, the executive director of Phi Alpha Theta at the University of South Florida; African American soldiers in World War I by Chapman University professor Jennifer Keene; and on Mohandas K. Gandhi and the war, led by Robert McLain, associate professor of history at Cal State Fullerton. The three lectures will be followed by a discussion. More information is available online.
