Orange County's Fossils Being Cataloged and Preserved

A collection of diverse and unique fossils housed at the Dr. John D. Cooper Archaeological and Paleontological Center will be identified, studied and preserved, thanks to a $500,000 grant that will help organize the collection.
The National Science Foundation grant will used over the next three years to fund proper museum-quality climate-controlled cabinets and and additional six student curators to sort, repair and organize the specimens. Continue reading.
