Endowment Secures Future of Annual Economic Forecast
Center's new name: James and Jeanette Woods Center for Economic Analysis and Forecasting

Cal State Fullerton’s economic forecasts will go on.
The university has raised its $1 million endowment goal to support the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics’ annual economic forecast and analysis, a report on Orange County, Southern California and national economy.
President Mildred García made the announcement during the recent 20th annual forecast.
James D. Woods, chairman emeritus and former chief executive of Baker Hughes Inc., and his wife, Jeanette, made the first $500,000 pledge and challenged others to match it.
The Woodses were honored for their support and now serve as the center’s namesake, the James and Jeanette Woods Center for Economic Analysis and Forecasting, said Anil Puri, dean of the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics.
