University Business Institute By the Book Offerings Announced

Campus members interested in expanding their communication, motivation, performance and personal, as well as professional development, are invited to take part in four University Business Institute By the Book programs offered this spring.
Programs are offered at noon on Thursdays in Room 700 of College Park. Registration and information for any of these programs is available online.
Jan. 16 — "Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead" by Sheryl Sandberg
Program facilitators: Deanna Merino-Contino, director of the President's Scholars Program, and Irene Matz, associate dean of the College of Communications
Feb. 20 — "Born Together Reared Apart: The Landmark Twin Study"
Author and facilitator: Nancy Segal, professor of psychology
March 13 — "Yes You Can Change the World" by Aman Motwane
Program facilitator: Roy Gonzales, assistant director of employee and organizational support, Facilities Operations
April 17 — "The Power of Negative Thinking: An Unconventional Approach to Achieving Positive Results" by Bob Knight
Program facilitator: Mark D. Stohs, professor of finance
