Casanova Pendrill is Recipient of Internship Site Award
May 12, 2014
Casanova Pendrill, one of the nation's largest Hispanic advertising agencies, is the 2014 recipient of the College of Communications' James P. Alexander Internship Site of the Year Award. Pam Caldwell, faculty internship coordinator, said the agency was selected based on its record of providing highly rated, paid internships for students.
Recognizing the value of the internship experience in preparing students for professional careers, the college's award-winning program was launched more than 30 years ago by the late James Alexander, professor emeritus of communications, the first full-time faculty member in the Department of Communications. Each year about 900 students in the college fulfill the internship requirement.
