Jan. 31 Symposium Marks Centennial

"The Centennial of World War I (1914-1918)" symposium Jan. 31 takes a close look at aspects of the multinational conflict through three commemorative lectures and discussions at Cal State Fullerton. The afternoon event is free and open to the public.
- "The Battle of Gallipoli (Canakkale) as History and Memory" Nancy Fitch, professor of history at Cal State Fullerton
- "Race and Empire: The First World War as a Global War" Jennifer Keene, chair and professor of history at Chapman University
- "Writing Russia Back Into the History of World War I" Lynn M. Sargeant, professor of history at Cal State Fullerton
