Making a Successful Pitch for Business
Feb. 19, 2014
Action was fast and furious as high school and university students made 60-second pitches for business ideas ranging from a heads-up-display for motorcycle helmets to cleaning equipment for makeup brushes earlier this month at the annual Fast Pitch Competition hosted by the Center for Entreprenuership in Mihaylo College of Business and Economics.
Then it was into the finals where winners were named: Hannah Keith and Kavita Galal of Northwood High School in Irvine in the high school track and Geneva Acholonu of UC Riverside in the university category.
The annual competition is sponsored by Wells Fargo, the Black Family Trust and the Guchereau Company.
