New Exhibits Open During Grand Central Art Center's First Saturday Celebration

Cal State Fullerton's Grand Central Art Center kicks off March with two new exhibitions, public programs and other activities Saturday, March 1, at the First Saturday Art Walk. The public program begins at 6 p.m. with a panel discussion on "Feminism Today: Art and Life."
Opening receptions from 7-10 p.m. will be held for "Heather Bowling and Amanda Patenaude: You Are What You Concede" and "Julia Haft-Candell: Fast and Slow." The Bowling and Patenaud exhibit, curated by Kimberly McKinnis, a master of fine arts in art-exhibition design major, continues through April 13. Yevgeniya Mikhailik, an art center curatorial associate, is curator for the Haft-Candell show, which continues through May 11.
