CSUF Irvine Campus Lecture Marks Black History Month
Feb. 12, 2014
"Eradicating the Word 'Straight' in Black Progressive Movements" is the theme of Edward L. Robinson Jr.'s Feb. 26 Black History Month presentation at Cal State Fullerton's Irvine Campus.
The 6 p.m. lecture in the CSUF Irvine Campus student lounge is free of charge and open to the public. It will focus on the ways the African American community can unify in a progressive movement as Robinson, CSUF lecturer in African American studies, discusses the historic past and the black community's collective failure to address discrimination against individuals with different sexual orientation.
