Public Lectures Explore Transitions in Retirement
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Offers Free Saturday Lectures

Planning for a rewarding retirement is the focus of a free, public lecture series offered by Cal State Fullerton's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). The Saturday classes provide structural and professional advice on a variety of topics related to transitioning into retirement.

Parking is free on weekends in most campus parking lots.
Jan. 25 — "Retirement Boot Camp: Turbocharging Your Retirement." This special 9 a.m.-3 p.m. program includes a light lunch.
Feb. 1 – "Navigating Our Financial Future in Retirement" presented by Gary Bowman, president, Bowman Financial Services
Feb. 8 – "Sleep Disorders" presented by Justine Petrie, medical director, St. Jude Sleep Center
Feb. 15 – " Tax Planning in Retirement" with James Johnson, general manager, Liberty Tax
Feb. 22 – "Do It Now For Spring" presented by Lucien Atta, Orange County master gardener
March 1 – "Nutritional Eating" with Norman Myers, wellness director, St. Jude Medical Center
March 8 – "Trends and Options in Retirement Living" by Karen Fazio, aging services consultant/educator, Orange County Council on Aging
March 15 – "Navigating the World of Genealogy" presented by genealogist Nancy M. Huebotter
March 22 – "Evernote – Software and Cloud Services to Track Almost Everything" presented by Bob Newcomb and Phyllis D'Hommedieu, OLLI-CSUF computer education instructors
March 29 – Speaker and topic to be announced.
April 12 – Speaker and topic to be announced.
This year marks the 35th anniversary for OLLI, a self-supporting university affiliate group of more than 1,300 retired and semiretired individuals dedicated the pursuit of lifelong learning.
