From 'Jeopardy!' to 'By the Book'

Psychology professor Nancy Segal's fame as a twin studies scholar has catapulted her to the ranks of "Jeopardy!" Last week's College Championship 2014 edition of the popular televised game show was Segal's "Jeopardy!" debut. In the category of "Let's Begin the Lecture," the following answer awaited contestant Julia Clark when she picked the $400 button: "Born Together-Reared Apart" is a lecture by Dr. Nancy Segal about these people. The question: What are identical twins?

Segal, recipient of the Outstanding Professor Award, will be discussing her book about the landmark twin study at today's "By the Book" University Business Institute presentation, open to all faculty and staff members. Her noon talk will be held in College Park, Room 700. Registration is requested and can be completed through the training portal.
