Titan Elizabeth George Speaks Sunday in Fullerton

Best-Selling Novelist to Deliver Free Lecture

Elizabeth George returned to her alma mater to speak at Commencement 2004 and receive an honorary doctorate.

Award-winning mystery novelist Elizabeth George '79 (M. S. counseling), whose characters come to life on screen in PBS's Masterpiece Theatre's "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries," will be speaking at the Fullerton Public Library Sunday, Feb. 23.

The 1 p.m. event, part of the library's Distinguished Speaker Series, will be held in the Community Room and is open to the public free of charge. A book-signing will follow her talk.

George returned to her alma mater in 2004 to receive an honorary doctorate and serve as a commencement keynote speaker. The best-selling author was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1995.
