Art and photography works created by students, alumni and Art Department faculty members are on exhibit as part of "OC Academy" though Saturday, April 19, at Irvine Fine Arts Center.
Exhibiting students are: Christina Lee, Kevin Stewart-McGee, Devora Orantes, Patrick Faulk, Juliana Rico, Holly Pendergast and Leonard Suryajaya. The faculty members are Julie Orser, assistant professor of art, and Joe Biel , associate professor of art.
"It is vital for all emerging artists to exhibit their work in the public sphere, and the OC Academy exhibition is a unique opportunity for our students to participate in a dialogue with their peers about the development of art students and the mentors who guide them," Orser said.
The OC Academy is a group exhibition featuring the artistic talents of students and teachers from Orange County's colleges and universities. The art exhibit showcases relationships and the creativity that stems from student-teacher interaction at the collegiate level.
