Teaching With Technology Focus of Symposium

Math teacher and blogger Robert Kaplinsky is the keynote speaker at the May 10 "High-Impact Teaching With Technology" symposium.

"High-Impact Teaching With Technology" is the focus of a Saturday, May 10, education symposium presented by CSUF's Center for Maximizing Teacher Impact.

The 10 a.m.-2 p.m. symposium, free and open to the public, will highlight the work of local fourth-12th grade teachers and teacher education faculty members who use technology to help students construct and extend knowledge to achieve the Common Core State Standards and 21st-century skills.

Keynote speaker Robert Kaplinsky, a math teacher and blogger, will discuss "The Need for Reasoning and Sense-Making" at 11 a.m.  in Room 321 of Langsdorf Hall.
