Urban Legends Revealed at Begovich Exhibit

"Hearsay: Artists Reveal Urban Legends," featuring artwork based on urban legends opens Saturday, March 29, at Cal State Fullerton's Begovich Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, April 12. Both the exhibition and the reception are free and open to the public. A catalog with essays by the curators, full-color images of the artwork and artist statements will be available at the reception. 

Graduate students Lauren Haisch, majoring in art–exhibition design, and Wendy Sherman, working on a MFA art-exhibition design, are curators of the exhibit, which showcases artworks from about 35 artists and continues through May 8. The gallery is located in CSUF's Visual Arts Center and is open noon-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
