Emergency Exercises Planned

Cal State Fullerton's emergency response teams, staff from Facilities Operations and University Police will be taking part in a Wednesday, July 30, earthquake exercise for campus responders and a Tuesday, Aug. 5, active shooter drill involving not only campus personnel but local law enforcement and fire agencies.
The July exercise will be held around the corporation yard, the Student Health and Counseling Center and the lawn north of Titan Gym. The August exercise held in the Titan Student Union. Both will be completed at noon.
Campus members are invited to observe or take part as "victims" or "witnesses" during the exercises.
"Getting involved in these exercises is not just exciting and fun, but you learn so much about the importance of being prepared for events like these," said Susan Fisher, emergency management coordinator in University Police.
