Jazz pianist, composer and Grammy Award-winning arranger Bill Cunliffe headlines Cal State Fullerton's annual Concert Under the Stars Saturday, Sept. 13, with a talent-filled lineup. The program, "All That Jazz," will follow jazz through the ages — from the swing era to the hip-hop generation — and will culminate in a fireworks spectacular. Proceeds from the University's signature fundraising event benefit student scholarships and programs.

Joining Cunliffe will be soprano Patricia A. Prunty ; tenor Mark J. Goodrich ; pianist, singer and Grammy-winning composer John Proulx ; and conductor Kimo Furumoto . All five are Cal State Fullerton faculty members.

Also performing will be instrumentalist and alumnus Tom Ranier '72 on clarinet, noted vocalist Dawn Bishop, guitarist Flavio Apro and Joey De Leon on percussion. The Fullerton Jazz Orchestra and CSUF Jazz Singers also will participate.

Saturday, Sept. 13
Gates open at 5 p.m.
Concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Individual seats at tables (non-catered) start at $35. Non-catered tables for six can be reserved for $300, or for 10 at $500.

Free lawn seating also is available, thanks to the generosity of Kaiser Permanente and SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.

Reservations are requested for both table and lawn seating and can be made online.

Those who have reserved table or lawn seating can order food in advance through the Concert Under the Stars' website, purchase food from on-site food trucks or bring picnic dinner and beverages. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted on campus.

Table sponsorships, including catered meals for up to 10 attendees, range from $3,000 to $10,000.

Free parking is located in Lot A. Parking for the disabled is available in Lot A and the State College Parking Structure. VIP parking will be available for table sponsors in the State College Parking Structure. A map is available online with detailed information.
