Pianist Ning An, assistant professor of music, headlines an all-Chopin Friday, Nov. 13, recital at 8 p.m. in Meng Concert Hall.
An, who joined Cal State Fullerton’s School of Music this fall, was the first-prize winner of the 2007 Tivoli International Piano Competition. He has appeared with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgart Philharmonic, the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and many others, as well as in numerous festivals. He also has presented recitals at Milan’s Salle Verdi, Paris’ Salle Cortot, Antwerp’s Palais de Beaux Arts and other venues.
