'Bordertown' Screening Sept. 25

The Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies, CSU Fullerton Latino Communications Initiative and Chicana/o Resource Center host a 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, screening of a full episode of "Bordertown," a new TV animated series that centers around two families living in a Southwest desert town on the U.S.-Mexico border. The show is produced by Seth MacFarlane of "Family Guy" and "American Dad!" fame.

The screening, in Room 123 of the Humanities-Social Sciences Building, also will feature a Q&A with OC Weekly editor Gustavo Arellano, who has taught on campus and collaborated on the show. "Bordertown" will debut in 2016 on FOX.

The screening is one of many Hispanic Heritage Month events taking place on campus through Oct. 15. For more information, contact Alexandro Gradilla, chair and associate professor of Chicana/o Studies.
