Shaun Pichler, associate professor of management, was a co-presenter of the paper “Do LGBT-Supportive Corporate Policies Enhance Firm Performance?” at the American Accounting Association 2015 Diversity Section Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. The paper took best paper honors at the Nov. 6-8 conference.
Also at the conference were Jing Han, lecturer in management, and Jidong Zhang, lecturer in accounting, who co-authored with Meiqun Yin of Bejing International Studies University, the paper “Women Directors on Boards, Corporate Performance and Impact on Corporate Social Responsibility.”
Jianxin “James” Gong, associate professor of accounting, will serve as chair for the session “Design of Executive Compensation Contracts” at the American Accounting Association’s January 2016 Management Accounting Section meeting in Dallas, Texas.
