Sales Students Get Professional Critiques on Their Pitches

Cal State Fullerton students interested in sales careers participated in interactive role-play sales pitch presentations during the Sales Leadership Center’s 3rd annual Titan Sales Competition on Dec. 4.

About 40 students competed in the competition in which corporate sales professionals individually met with students for fictitious sales meetings.

Students were judged on their performance by real-world corporate professionals who were seated in a separate room and viewed the role-play scenes through live streaming.

“The experience was really worthwhile,” said Jessica Tobias, a 22-year-old business-marketing student. “I think it’s beneficial because it really puts you out of your comfort zone.”
