"Bat Night" coming to Tucker Sanctuary

Cal State Fullerton’s Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary will host its 7th annual “Bat Night” on Oct. 17. The informational get-together will focus on nocturnal animals, specifically bats.

The sanctuary will host crafts, games, live animal encounters, face painting, wagon rides, pumpkin carving activities and an educational, interactive program on bats. Barbeque meals will be available for purchase at the event.

CSUF professor of biological science Paul Stapp will be on site to educate attendees on the biology and natural history of bats. Continue reading.
