Expert Says Sleep Is a Deep Mystery

Did you know that by the time you turn 75, you will have spent approximately 23 years of your life sleeping? Humans, on average, spend about one-third of their life asleep.

Cal State Fullerton psychology lecturer and CSUF alumna Deborah Wilson-Ozima recently gave a presentation, titled “What is Sleep?” as part of the university’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute free fall lecture series.

Wilson-Ozima describes sleep as “biological, magical and mysterious.”
