Supermoon Eclipse at Cal State Fullerton

Cal State Fullerton’s Fullerton Arboretum was the site of a total lunar eclipse viewing event on Sunday; it was the first supermoon eclipse in 33 years. Unfortunately for attendees, clouds blocked some of the light from the eclipse.

“It was faint seeing it through the clouds, but it was visible,” said Steve Karl, a CSUF biological science faculty member who attended the event.

Telescopes were set up at the arboretum for attendees to catch a clearer view of the eclipse.
