ASI President Wants to Empower Students

For Cal State Fullerton student Michael Badal, juggling being the university’s Associated Students Inc. president and CEO along with a double major, impending graduation at the end of the school year and family and social commitments isn’t easy -- but that’s not to say he doesn’t enjoy it.

“As you can imagine, I’m pretty busy -- it’s a fun balance,” Badal, 22, said. “Being able to sit down and talk to students, especially as an extrovert, it gives me energy. You just find the balance.”

He was elected for the position this past spring semester.

Badal hails from Fullerton. He attended Troy High School and when it came time to decide where he would pursue higher education, he didn’t think twice about attending CSUF and remaining in his hometown.

Majoring in political science and philosophy, Badal’s post-CSUF plans include attending law school. Continue reading
